Delta Light Ramps Up its North American Investment
Lytei’s Sam Koerbel is among the key, new, full-time hires
Delta Light Group North America (DLGNA), the company that was formed earlier this year when Belgium’s Delta Light acquired Lambent Lighting Group, has recently hired three experienced lighting professionals into some key company roles. Additionally, the company has announced two key promotions. DLGNA’s brands include LF Illumination, Delray Lighting, VLT, Delta Light and SoftForm.

Mike Donovan - Regional Sales Manager, Midwest
Sam Koerbel – VP of Marketing
Logan Gerhard – Business Unit President of LF Illumination and Delray Lighting
Tyler Mullane – VP of Sales for Delta Light Group North America
One of the more noteworthy new hires for DLGNA is Sam Koerbel into the role of VP of Marketing. Many lighting people know Koerbel through the Lytei business that he founded in 2019. Lytei injected new media strategies into the commercial and architectural lighting landscape while connecting the lighting community, providing lighting education and helping lighting brands tell their stories in unique ways.
With Koerbel’s new full-time role of VP of Marketing, questions are arising about the future of Lytei. Koerbel provided the 1-minute video below to explain what's next for Lytei. We sat down with Koerbel at the IALD Enlighten conference in Palm Springs, California where he emphasized that Lytei will continue to focus on three core areas:
LytePod – a leading lighting podcast
Documentaries – content that explores lighting topics in depth
FireDen – the LightFair-based video platform that brought the show and many lighting thought leaders to lighting people who didn’t make it to the event.
